Please be aware of the dangers presented by removing covers or panels of any piece of electronic equipment.  Mains or battery powered equipment can be extremely dangerous.  If you are not qualified to repair or modify a piece of equipment, do not even consider removing it's cover.  Touching or even placing any part of your body too near certain components can cause serious injury or even death by electrocution.  Certain components can retain their charge after the set has been switched off, so do not assume it is safe even after removing the power!  You have been warned!
